KUALA LUMPUR: Former Gerak Khas actress Abby Abadi is set to tie the knot on Aug 14.
Abby, 38, whose real name is Arbaiyah Abdul Manan revealed on her Instagram account yesterday that she would be marrying a man by the name of Jai Ezzany at a mosque in Taman Keramat here.
Abby uploaded a photo of her and Jai, and contained the hashtag #walimatulurus #jaiabby.
"Aug 14 will be a beautiful day for the both of us, we have known each other since 2013 and got closer in 2014 as a result of work. It is a long story but the time for us to get married has come. Thank God for making it happen," said Abby in her message.
"We are in the process of sending out wedding invites, and sincerely apologise for any delay. Two days after our marriage, we will have a wedding dinner with peach colour as the wedding theme."
Abby said she would be grateful to fans and friends if they could assist her in finding a suitable venue, door gifts, make-up artists and wardrobe.
Abby was formerly married to her fellow Gerak Khas actor Norman Hakim between 2002 and 2008 and they had three children.
In 2013 she married Muhammad Noor Farhan Che Bakar, but the marriage only lasted a year.
