Four nabbed in Kajang for string of house break-ins

KAJANG: Police have arrested four men believed to be involved in a spate of house break-in cases in the district, early today.

Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Willy Richard said the men were traveling in a car and acting suspiciously. Police then flagged down the vehicle near Sungai Chua here about 3.30am.

Willy said upon checking the car, two parang, an axe, caps and face masks wrapped in a grey sweater were found.

"Initial checks revealed the four men had no criminal records. They were taken to the Kajang police district headquarters for further action.

"We believe following the arrest, police have solved several house breaks-in cases in the district and other areas as well," he said.
