GEORGE TOWN: An online entrepreneur was found dead with two stab wounds, at his apartment in Lebuh Sungai Pinang 7, Jelutong this afternoon.
In the 1pm incident, police were alerted by a neighbour to a foul stench emanating from the unit.
Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said checks by police found the victim, Norlisham Nordin, 34, covered in blood, on his bed.
"He had a stab wound on the right side of his shoulder, and another wound on the back of his neck.
"We believe the victim has been dead for two days," he told reporters at the scene.
Norlisham's remains were sent to the Penang Hospital for a post mortem examination.
The case has been classified as murder.
