Dapper new force, policemen gets free haircuts

SEREMBAN: In conjunction with a back-to-school campaign, the Senawang police station treated its officers and their family members to free haircuts.

Aimed at lessening the burden of the officers, it was the first time that the station had organised such an event.

Four hair stylists from Safa Barbershop and E-Comb Barbershop here were invited to take part in the event, which was held at the police station from 9am to 2pm.

Senawang police chief Assistant Superitendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said the event was opened to all Senawang police station employees including their family members.

“There’s no age limit. Based on the positive responses today, we aim to organise this event annually,” he said.

“Besides helping to lessen the burden of the parents, we hope this event will also promote discipline and maintain neat appearances among our officers and their family members. This is also a way to bring the society and police closer,” said Mohd Hafiz.

Also present at the event was Seremban district police deputy chief Supritendent Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman.
