KUANTAN: A student of Institut Kemahiran Mara (IKM) here was among two people killed in an accident involving three motorcycles at Km48 of Jalan Besar Jengka 14, near Maran last night.
Mohamad Amirol Hafiz Mohd Nazri, 19, and a grocery shop worker, Ahmad Fitri Mohd Nor, 18, died on the spot in the 11pm crash.
Maran police chief DSP Mat Rizal Mat Radzi said Mohamad Amirol Hafiz's motorcycle had first collided with Ahmad Fitri's motorcycle when he failed to overtake three other motorcycles, before they were struck by another motorcycle ridden by Aimal Razali Abdullah, 19.
"Aimal Razali only sustained minor injuries.
“The two bodies were sent to the Jengka Hospital and the injured sought treatment at the hospital," Mat Rizal said. - BERNAMA
