Trader has narrow escape when car crashes into stall

PORT DICKSON: A nasi lemak trader had a narrow escape when a car crashed into his stall at Bandar Springhill here.

In the 7.40am incident, a woman in her 30s lost control of her Honda Civic when another car came out of a junction nearby.

The trader, Azman Diran, 40, said he was arranging nasi lemak packets on a table when he saw the car heading towards his stall.

"I jumped out of the way and ran to the back of the stall. I couldn't save my nasi lemak, however, and they are now scattered all over the road.

"It happened so fast. Fortunately, there were no customers at the time. I am lucky to have only sustained light injuries but my stall has been completely destroyed."

Azman said it was the first time such an incident had occured in all his three years selling nasi lemak there.
