Bomb threat at Tampin Hospital

TAMPIN: Early this morning, the Tampin Hospital received a bomb threat through a phone call made by an anonymous caller.

Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis confirmed the matter and dispatched nine personnel from Tampin station to the location as soon as they received the distress call from Tampin District Officer’s office at 6.50am.

He said the police did a thorough check while the patients were moved to a secure place.

“I’m also going there to monitor the situation,” he said when contacted today.

At press time, there’s still no confirmation from the police over the incident.
