Hajiji also announced that government assemblymen would receive RM3 million allocation next year for the implementation of minor projects in their constituencies.

"I am pleased to inform that next year the allocation for the government assemblymen will be increased to RM3 million with the distribution of RM2.5 million for the implementation of minor projects in their respective constituencies and RM500,000 for Sentuhan Kasih.

"I sincerely hope that all of the assemblymen will use this provision wisely and fairly for the development of their constituencies," he said.

Hajiji said even though the global political and economic situation was predicted to be uncertain in 2023, the state government would continue to heighten its efforts and is determined to ensure that Sabah's economy and development are driven and intensified.

For that, he said, various activities will be implemented to boost economic growth in line with the state's revenue performance.
