Bloody but unbroken: Muslim Care Malaysia Palestine branch chairman vows to distribute aid [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Defying adversity, Muslim Care Malaysia (MCM) Palestinian Branch chairman Abu Ayesh Al Najjar remains resolute in fulfilling the trust of the Malaysian people despite sustaining injuries in an Israeli bombing of his house in Gaza, Palestine.

Based on a recent viral video, the Muslim Care Malaysia (MCM) Palestinian Branch chairman, who is also a graduate of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), was seen lying down and receiving stitches for his head injuries.

Covered in blood, the 54-year-old Palestinian could still smile while greeting the Malaysian people and informing them that he was in good condition.

He reassured Malaysians of his well-being and pledged to distribute aid from Malaysia soon.

"Don't worry, I'm okay, we are okay. In a few hours, I will go out to distribute your aid (from Malaysia)," he said.

Undeterred by the atrocities faced by Gaza residents, Abu Ayesh expressed solidarity, stating that, like himself, the people of Gaza persist despite bombings, pain, and mass killings by the Zionist regime.

He expressed faith in the al-Qassam Brigades' ability to overcome the enemy.

"God willing, many will remain steadfast. The Palestinian people will show Israel.

"Sooner or later, we will achieve victory," he said.

Sharing the moments of the bombing, Abu Ayesh said he and his family were sleeping when the air raid occurred at dawn.

Recounting the harrowing moments of the bombing, Abu Ayesh revealed that he and his family were asleep when the air raid struck at dawn.

Concerns lingered for the fate of other family members, including his 67-year-old brother.

Abu Ayesh's nephew Imad An-Najar emerged safely from the rubble, clutching the Quran tightly, even though he, too, suffered injuries.

The ongoing mass killings in Gaza persist as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejects a ceasefire, resulting in an estimated 15 deaths every hour, including six children and five women.
