Son of ex-DPM, Tamrin arrives to give statement over blog post

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Tamrin Ghafar has arrived at Bukit Aman to provide his statement after being called by the police regarding a blog post containing predictions about the country's leadership and the state of Malay politics in the next 10 years.

Arriving at 10.40am, Tamrin, who is the son of former deputy prime minister Tun Abdul Ghafar Baba, was met by around 15 media personnel who had been waiting for his arrival since 10am.

Tamrin entered the complex at 10.51am, and was accompanied by his lawyer, Muhammad Rafique Rashid Ali and Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as Chegubard.

On April 9th, Tamrin recieved a call from a Bukit Aman's Classified Crimes Investigations Unit (USJT) officer at Bukit Aman about a police investigation related to a post titled '10 Tahun lagi, DAP akan jadi Tuan' made on April 4th.
