Rajagobal plays patient game with PKNS

KUALA LUMPUR: Known as a patient coach, Datuk K. Rajagobal is not in a rush to judge his PKNS players.

Despite a 1-0 defeat to Kuala Lumpur in a friendly match on Saturday, Rajagobal is not too worried.

The former national coach is still giving priority to getting his men to adapt to the team’s playing philosophy.

"We test our players during friendlies and that's normal. We want to see what they players have learned,” he said.

"We want to see whether the players understand our play. All the players must be given a chance to prove themselves."

Before their M-League campaign kicks off, Rajagobal hopes to arrange for a series of friendly matches for his players for them to prove their worth.

"There are times when we see the positives and also the negatives of the players. As a whole, we want to see improvement."
