KUALA LUMPUR: Muhammad Aiman Raziz Affindi faces China’s Chen Lei in a One Championship bout in Shanghai on Sept 8.
Chen Lei is known as the knockout king, and Aiman will need to be at his best for the bout.
The 23-year-old Aiman is currently on a two-win streak with a career record of 4-2.
His last win was in March against Cambodia’s Rin Saroth at One: Visions of Victory in KL.
Chen Lei is undefeated with a 5-0 record, four of which via knockout, and the 29-year-old is not expected to slow down when he enters the cage for the bantamweight fight against Aiman.
“It will be tough, and I hope it will not be too cold there. I feel I am matured now through previous experiences.
“I don’t know much about him (Chen Lei), but I know he is stronger on the ground. I just need to be patient and think how to finish the bout. Of course, I will try to knock him out,” said Aiman.
