Msians clinch four medals at world wushu meet

THE national exponents did well to clinch four medals at the ongoing World Martial Arts Masterships in Chungju, South Korea.

Pang Pui Yee impressed the judges with her movements and grace on the competition mat to win the women’s jianshu gold while Tan Cheong Min bagged the nandao discipline.

Pui Yee added a silver in the changquan discipline while Clement Ting did likewise in the men’s daoshu.

The world meet, which ends on Friday, features numerous disciplines including taekwondo, judo, Muay Thai, sambo, belt wrestling, aikido, yongmudo, kurash, kabaddi and horseback archery, among others.
