LAHAD DATU: Sabah Immigration director Noor Alam Khan is the new Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) chief executive officer, taking over the post from Ruji Ubi.
Ruji has been appointed as Sabah State Development Officer effective yesterday, replacing Datuk Matusin Sunsang who retired earlier this month.
In a statement issued by Esscom today, Ruji received his letter of appointment from the Chief Secretary of the government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa for the new post on December 15.
Ruji, 45, held the Esscom CEO post since September last year.
